AEM-7C Versions
The AEM-7 is only available in the fully cached, AEM-7C version. It is configured to emulate the HP-7900A Disk Drive.

Supports all drive emulations and standard options. The Alpha-Numeric Operator Panel provides additional functionality over the LED Panel, supporting up to 100 volumes and allowing Operator Panel control of both Backup and Restore. AEM-7C/RMAF and AEM-7C/RMAR with 50 pin primary devices are no longer available. |

Notes: System Models include the enclosure, an Emulator, mounting for the mandatory primary SCSI drive(s), a power supply, internal cabling and software. Mounting for Primary SCSI Storage Device
The legacy disk drive image is stored on the primary SCSI storage device. AEM-7C Systems may be configured with either fixed or removable SCSI storage devices as the primary SCSI storage device. SCSI disk drives are ordered separately. For **F enclosures, the drive is fixed mounted inside the system enclosure. **RM enclosures include drive bays for removable disk drive modules. The drive bays have a key lock switch for mechanical and electrical interlock.
