HP 79XX HP-IB CS/80 Disk Drive Emulation

The AEM-8 replaces aging and refurbished HP CS/80 drives with current and reliable SCSI drive technology. No host system software or controller changes are required to replace a HP CS/80 refurbished drive with the AEM-8. The AEM-8 provides a complete bridge between the host HPIB controller and the AEM's SCSI drives. These drives have been used on HP-1000, 3000 and 9000 computers in a variety of applications. While refurbished HPIB drives are available, refurbished HPIB drives commonly fail within a few months resulting in system down time. The AEM-8 is provided as new equipment, with a warranty, and MTBF of 200,000+ hours. Additional AEM-8 options include backup, restore, tape cartridges replaced with MO media, and multi-volume (provides several HP 79XX disk partitions on a single SCSI media).
