High Performance Single Board Computer

The Arraid ESP-1 is a single board computer providing a rapid development platform for custom device interfaces. The combination of a Motorola ColdFire processor running a Linux based operating system, with a Xilinx FPGA for a front-end interface, provides the power and flexibility needed for the most demanding applications. The ESP-1 can support both IDE and SCSI devices. System connectivity is provided via PCI bus, SCSI bus and 10/100 BaseT Ethernet.

The ESP-1 is the emulation engine upon which all new Arraid disk and tape drive emulators are based. As such, this SBC is tried and proven, and our engineers have developed significant expertise in its implementation and use. The ESP-1 is available to VARs and System Integrators, along with a Software Development Kit, for use in their designs and products.
